Next week the Centre will welcome Clod Ensemble to the Weston Studio as they begin their research and development on a new piece of work, Elegy.
Elegy is planned to become part of our Festival of Voice 2020 theatre programme, and this early stage research period will see Clod Ensemble working with amateur and professional local choirs to explore the music and themes created thus far.
The Centre will welcome Clod Ensemble back in November as they present Under Glass and we are hoping to develop an on-going relationship with them as Elegy continues to grow.
As such, on Wednesday 22 March at 12pm (lunchtime) we're opening the doors to the Weston Studio, as an opportunity to meet the company and hear more about their plans and practices. Directors, Suzy Wilson and Paul Clark will give a short presentation on the company and then there will be an opportunity to ask questions and have an informal chat.
This session is open to everyone, we'd like to encourage a space for open conversations and to build connections between the work and companies happening locally and Clod Ensemble as they begin their creative journey here in Wales.
This session should take 45-60 minutes.
If you have any questions or would like to join us, please get in touch!
Very best wishes and hope to see you there.
