So, here we are, November the 5th and the launch - online - of the first year's programme for National Theatre Wales. Log on at 12.30 at nationaltheatrewales.org for news of all the shows from March 2010 to April 2011 (or community.nationaltheatrewales.org if you want to chat along too) .

We hope that you will be as excited as we are by this rich and varied programme - it's going to be a lot of work to pull off all these shows - but it's going to be well worth it. There will be new forms of theatre, and extraordinary versions of classics, great actors returning home and whole communities taking to the stage. We hope that people throughout Wales will see something that's just right for them in the programme, and that lots of people will also vow to take a risk and see something completely new. And if you want to take our year-long theatre challenge, it could be well worth the reward!

So, soon there will be no more cryptic clues from me, just a grand year of theatre ahead. There'll be a lovely new website, and this community still at the heart of it all. There'll be our Debate and Respond programmes - creating new, fast-turnaround events throughout the year, and NTW TEAMs forming all across the country.

So tell your friends, have a party, crack open the cava, bake a cake! It's the launch of our new National Theatre - taking place in homes, workplaces and theatres, and half way up at least one mountain, all across the world!
