Hi my name is Heloise Godfrey-Talbot, I’m a video artist.

I’m currently researching the possibility of creating a  digital ‘musical dialogue’ between musicians and individuals who do not use speech as their main method of communicating with the world (specifically those with Autism Spectrum Disorder). The project is called The Joy Orchestra and will eventually be a multi-screen event for a testbed performance in May 2014.

I am supported by the Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff Metropolitan University and the Arts Council of Wales but I need your help too!

I’m looking for:

anyone who plays a musical instrument (to any standard) who is willing to let me film them either practicing or performing.

I’m sorry I don’t have a budget to pay participants but everyone involved will receive a piece of limited edition art in May 2014 ... and cups of tea!

If you want to join the Joy Orchestra or if you just want to know more about what i’m doing please get in touch:

Hello

I'm a musician working with everyday sound and would be up for chatting about your project and being filmed playing something if you like? Sounds really interesting, if you'd like to get in touch my email is young443@hotmail.com - if you'd like to hear some of my music then my website is www.acouchristo.wordpress.com.

Hope to hear from you,

All the best
