I dont read enough new plays........I dont know where to start.

Is there a book club you can join that sends you a couple of new plays a month, you read them and send them back? Or you download it to your e-reader and it expires after a month? If not.....why not? Seems like a great way to get new work out there, and a great way to get people who otherwise would not take the time to find this new writing themselves reading and producing. So I guess the main points im asking for advise about are

Is there such a thing as a new writing book club?

If not where do I get the funding and support to start one?

And to keep me going until one of the above happens.....where do I start with searching out some new stuff to read all by myself?

Thanks!

Why not create a group on here somewhere, where you can discuss plays and such with other members :) I'd join that as I don't think I've read enough  xx

Sounds like a good idea. I've never heard of such a thing, but I'm sure it must be feasible, especially if you mean 'new and published' as opposed to 'new by unknown person and not published or even performed.'
