Hi all

Just a quick post to tell you all about Not Too Tame's production of 'Early Doors', which previously played in Porters, Cardiff, will now be playing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 14' as part of Pop Up Pleasance, at the Jinglin' Geordie Pub.

We're an ensemble of actors who mainly trained at RWCMD and are extremely passionate and excited about making our own work. Early Doors is all our own writing and started as a one off performance for the fun of it and went down so well, we've developed it over the last year & a half and now get the chance to take it up to the Fringe with no less than a bang!

Not Too Tame are an ensemble company of professional actors who are firmly founded on the belief of ‘Theatre for All’, focusing specifically in creating work that breaks the boundaries of tame, polite theatre and aims to engage those who feel that theatre isn’t a place where they belong.

Early Doors is a celebration of community and pub culture. From the very off you get a sense that this is something quite different from your normal theatrical experience. ‘Early Doors’ lives and breathes amidst the four walls of a real pub and the eclectic community that inhabit it.  Focus is pulled from one character’s story to another following their tales of love, loss and hope.  This is not a play with a stage and an interval, but an hour long site specific experience with all the great qualities of a gig; uplifting, unpretentious, electric and with a bevy in hand!
