My names is Ali Goolyad I'm a poet and a group facilitator who loves creativity in every form. I was raised in the most multicultural area in Wales, Butetown also known as Cardiff bay and formerly known as Tiger bay.

In June 2011 my life changed for the better when I got involved with National theatre Wales TEAM. Myself and friends proposed a successful idea to National theatre Wales eventually winning a £175,000 funding prize from Gulbenkian Foundation. Ever since my first involvement I’ve been trying to inspire the next generation aswell as the current generation to get into theatre and performing arts. With TEAM, it makes my ambitions that much easier to accomplish. TEAM is like a family that's forever growing, always listening and hungry for challenges. Together Everyone Achieves More.
