Dirty Protest and Chapter Arts centre have teamed up to stage the 2012 Wales Drama Award winning play Parallel Lines by Katherine Chandler.

Steph is 15 years old. Simon is her teacher. Both live in Cardiff but their parallel lives couldn't be more different. When an accusation is made and their worlds collide, things aren't as simple as they might seem.

Award-winning playwright Katherine Chandler explores truth, class and power in contemporary Wales in this gripping, uncompromising play.

I am lucky enough to be working as Assistant Director on the production and peering into the rehearsal room of director Catherine Paskell.  Over the last week we have been workshopping the script and Katherine has been busy making lots of changes over the weekend.  At 11am tomorrow we receive the final version of the script, meet the rest of the team, roll up our sleeves and begin to bring Parallel Lines to life.  After watching the actors with itchy feet dying to get off their chairs and physically explore the characters we are set for a really exciting few weeks.

Here are a few pictures...

Thats all for now folks.  There will be lots more updates as the weeks go on.

Chapter Arts Centre, 20th - 30th November.  Book your tickets here.
