'Playtime With Us' review, Fair Play festival

They were amazing... It was gob-smacking... and utter filth.

Ok, I'll explain. We got there and they were all in the sun, thus the Main Stage of the Fair Play festival where we took to the stage at 3.15pm to perform 'Playtime with Us' was on dirt and gravel. We often were on the floor on the dusty ground that became our oxygen.

With Bristol Zoo and urination issues to wanting cake and dying from the sun's heat in the Sahara. We sang and improvised our way through the games to then encapsulate the whole thing straight after with Ludus Ludius' focal point of playfulness.

Having now played out the new version of this format we are now certain what we need to do for Brighton Fringe next year. Thats the next stop for this production.

Whether it was amazing and gob-smaking i don't know, as it would be a biost opinion. But it was utter filth though, got home and went straight to the shower.

Thank you Edith and I guess me too to cover the team. Two players risking it all to find their true playfulness.

Don't Forget 'Flurry of Florence' is at Chapter Arts Centre on Friday 31st July and Saturday 1st August, 8pm. Only £5 on the door.

P.S May well have a sneak gig in Adams-Up festival tomorrow, Sunday 26th July, sometime after 5pm if you wish to come. Held at Anderson Fields. Should be the same production.
