This weekend was our first whole cast rehearsal of the opening 3 songs and for an added bit of pressure this was put together for the first time half an hour before the audience  for our Christmas Showcase arrived! The premiere of Joseph was well received at our end of term show with parents purchasing even more tickets for friends and family!

Our Christmas showcase saw lots of nervous tears so it will be interesting to see how the children cope with their nerves when we tripple the audience size for the Easter show in the YMCA! Luckily we get another opportunity to practice in front of an audience in January for our Wales Millenium Centre variety performance at 1pm on January 20th! Join us in the foyer for this fabulous free show!

It was incredible to see some of the children overcoming their fears and singing a solo for the first time to our audience this weekend! Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer stole the show, sung solo by 5 of our 5 years wearing santa hats! Stars in the making! It was great to see one of our 5 year olds singing word and note perfect- this girl has a great future! If we can stop her younger brother (age 3) picking his nose on stage and lifting up his t-shirt over his head then we are sure he will follow in her fabulous footsteps- he is already singing the loudest in the group! We were incredibly proud of our little stars this weekend and can't wait to get back into rehearsals in the new year!
