Scratch That Itch - First Event Wed 25th May

Sooooooo as you may or may not know Scratch That Itch launches this Wednesday in Monkey Bar Swansea. The night will start at 7.30p.m and end at 9.30p.m, although I'll probably be down there from about 6.00p.m for any super keen beans.

We have 12 original short performances for your viewing pleasure from artists based in Swansea, Cardiff and we even have one popping up from London. The night is shaping up nicely the only thing we need now is you our audience.

The night is being held upstairs in Monkey Bar Swansea. I have checked the train times and all so no excuses there are 2 trains back to Cardiff after the event is finished. If you are coming in by train just head strait down high street and you'll find Monkey Bar at the other end by the fountains at Swansea Castle Gardens. All those finding another way to the event the fountains are a good land mark to aim for as Monkey Bar is just around the corner from them.

The night is offering a platform to performers and writers to show work that is in the early stages of development. For this first event all the pieces have been created around the theme of emotional attachment to music. A key to the nights success is you the audience. Your feedback will help decide if these projects get taken further or not and is invaluable to the performers.

If all that wasn't enough this first event is totally free. We are also looking to hold events across the next few months so if you are interested in performing at future events please come and support this first one.

If anyone has any questions about the event please email me at letmescratchthatitch@gmail.com

Hope to see you all Wednesday Night

Well done Brent, the evening was a great success, don't forget to spread the word about the Foundation Degree in Drama at Bridgend College
