Sgin Ti Syniad is a community project in Caernarfon, leading up to Sgint- the first ever Welsh language verbatim play. Both the play and the community project have the same theme: People's relationship with money.

Over the last two months I've been up in Caernarfon meeting, training, and developing ideas with the Creative Team. This project is an opportunity to hear the creative voices of the young people involved. We are making a film, creating an interactive piece of urban design, Opening an Empty Shop and much more...

Sgin Ti Syniad will run up to Sgint's opening in Caernarfon to allow us to hear more voices from Caernarfon, extending on the verbatim notion of the play.

Sgint is written by Bethan Marlow and is a collaboration between Sherman Cymru and Theatr Gen, directed by Arwel Gruffydd.

I'm working as the creative technical leader on Sgin Ti Syniad and Bethan Marlow is directing.

Hi, we're launching everything during half term in February. We're taking over an empty shop, where we'll have community events and it'll be a central point where people can come together and talk (as the time gets closer, we'll reveal the exact shop!). January and February leading up to half term we'll be creating and testing.. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Hi! When's all this happening? Would love to come and see what you're doing, sounds really interesting, and am based near Caernarfon.
