Hello NTW Community!

My name is Diana and as of today I start the role of TEAM Associate in South West Wales. I am very excited to be a part of the NTW crew.

Having joined the TEAM Panel back in January I feel this is a role that I can peruse in more depth and continue my aim of getting more people involved with TEAM and NTW in Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.

As National Theatre Wales is a NATIONAL theatre the vision is to make NTW accessible in each and every corner of Wales and one of the best ways to do this is through TEAM.

There is no one way to describe TEAM, TEAM is what you make it, it is a resource, a tool, a way to connect with others, an opportunity to collaborate, you can tailor it to your needs. Everyone who is part of it has their own journey through TEAM and one of the best things about it is everyone who is part of TEAM is happy to help you in the right direction.

I am on a mission to connect with as many different types of creative people in South West Wales, give them an insight into what TEAM is all about and the opportunities that it offers.

National Theatre Wales’ ethos is about listening to the people’s voice and bringing communities together to express their views in a creative way. I want people in this area to have more of these opportunities too.

South West Wales has limited access to theatre. I think it is important to make theatre and the arts available to everyone and to make people believe that it is something that anyone can go to or be part of.

So if you are a South West Walian and have an interest in TEAM, have an idea, a vision or you know someone in the area that you think would benefit from TEAM, do get in touch, I’d be happy to chat over a cuppa and see what good things can happen.
