Today i was looking at pictures of the National Theatre of Wales' shop in the arcade where everyone went and had crepes. It was nice to see so many familiar faces that i could put names to. I saw Gareth Bale and Mared Swain and Stephen Burkitt-Harrington. That is three faces and nearly enough names for four people thanks to Stephen. I saw the backs of some heads which were also familiar but obviously harder to put names to.
It does my heart no end of good to see Stephen serving posh drinks at a do. He probably put the table up aswell. He probably brought the disco ball and the PA in his van with the trestles and the wine. He probably owns the company that embroidered the airtex t-shirts. He might have stayed up all night the night before the night when the function was held in the arcade putting curious things into little plastic envelopes to decorate the wall of the shop with. I say shop, i suppose it's more of a concession really. It looks very nice.

The time I have spent in Cardiff is very dear to me. There were too many lovely occasions to count but I'm reasonably certain that every time there were lights or tables or wine or embroidered airtex t-shirts or anything that would have marked the occasion as a red-letter day Stephen Burkitt-Harrington would not have been very far away. That's how i can be sure that everybody had a lovely time. All because of Him.
I quite like just saying his name. Try it. It rolls off the tongue. Like balaclava. It means ski-mask.
