Strangers International Youth Theatre Project is reaching out across South West Wales

The Strangers 2 project builds on our success with the Strangers International Youth Theatre project in 2007 but this time we will be empowering young people from not only Brynaman but also wider Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Powys and Pembrokeshire to create an original piece of theatre with young people in Hong Kong, NZ and Australia! We are looking for any organisations working in these areas with disadvantaged or marginalised groups of young people who would benefit from engaging in an exciting theatre making process. Having not worked in some of these areas before your thoughts on who to talk to and where to start would be wonderful. Pembrokeshire and Swansea are particularly new to us so thoughts on these areas would be really amazing! The funding we have already received will enable us to work in these areas for the next 3 years so I promise this is not a flash in the pan exercise. We have already recruited Dafydd James as the writer working with us here in Wales so any groups of young people who get involved will experience a really dynamic process! Ring 07966 294188 to find out more,

Sarah Jones
Artistic Director
Mess Up The Mess Theatre Company

There is lots and lots to talk about with regard to the project so please get in touch if you are interested.
