Today, the Sherman is buzzing.
Rehearsals continue for 'Emperor's New Clothes.' The first week of 'The Borrowers' is in full swing and today, the fourth chapter in the Sherman Theatre's initiative to develop emerging writers has taken over the space. TAITH has begun.
And it's an exciting takeover.
Three plays in three rehearsal rooms with three directors. The brief: three plays for children aged 10-12. Nervous laughter and anticipation has quickly turned into belly laughs as accents, roars, animals and silliness become the shared language of each rehearsal room.
Writers have already began to play and explore.
Playtime is called for 4pm at the Sherman Theatre.
