Greetings from the Edinburgh Fringe!

We've been in this magical land nearing 24 hours now and so far we have:

  • Made lots of new buddies
  • Jumped, ran, searched and got lost throughout the cobbled streets in the pursuit of theatre
  • Spread the TEAM love on the Royal Mile, Pleasance Courtyard and Cowgate
  • Realised most shows need to be pre-booked
  • Eaten the best falafel
  • Bumped into Cardiff faces
  • Saw TEAM member and our WalesLab comrade Catriona James doing  Stand up Tragedy in a dark cave. It was honest, she was brave, it was about her love and her consequencial depression.
  • Went to part of The Frontier Trilogy by Jethro Compton in an indoor purpose built Western Style barn. As part of Belt up Theatre , Jethro was the driving force in my discovery and exploration of immersive and site specific theatre.
  • Joined the hilarious & talented TEAM panal member Louisa Lorey for her show Double Dipp Pick N' Mixx. Jac faced his fear of audience participation by taking part in vengeful areobics, bingo winning and blow up doll cwtching. I had the pleasure of becoming a feminist's life partner, Julie. "Love you Julie"
  • Had lots of bother with my non charging phone
  • Came down with flu
  • Stocked up on pro plus.

You can follow our antics on twitter @theatretheatre, @jacifanmoore and #ntwTEAM.

Lots of love from the Fringe,

Rachel & Jac
