Hello everyone,

Myself and Kelly are currently sat at mine having a nice cup of tea, chatting about what an enjoyable day we've had. We've spent the day at The Abacus Christmas Bazaar manning a(very)Christmas themed TEAM stall.

The Abacus is a wonderful new art space located in the old Bus ticketing office in the heart Cardiff city. Today's Bazaar was host to over 40 stalls, dozens of performances and lots of delicious cake.

There was a full and lively bunch of attendees with plenty interest in the Arts.

Our stall was host to the TEAM Tree- each bauble representing a different fragment of the ever growing TEAM programme:
We met and spoke with Photographers, Actors, Music students, Film makers, Artists, Poets, Writers, Designers, Props makers, Makers, British Council & WNO employees, Musicians, Painters, Mothers, cousins and everyone in between.

We had chats about the exciting new things TEAM has to offer :Choir and Hubs. We discussed the training and development opportunities offered. We detailed each event and suggested what would be a great starting point for them in their TEAM journey.
We spoke about our individual TEAM journeys, both which began in Jan 2010 at The Soul Exchange. We spoke of TEAM to them as a supportive and inclusive network that feeds into all National Theatre Wales do; from community engagement through to personal development.

The most rewarding part of the day was sharing the plentiful opportunities TEAM provides with recent graduates and others looking for a way into Theatre and the Arts. We frequently talked about how accessible NTW are as a company- resulting in surprise and delight in equal measure from the public.

As an extra bonus to finding out all about TEAM there was,a RAFFLE!

Entry to the prize draw was by answering this easy question: Which Hollywood Actor starred in NTW's The Passion?

We had well over 40 entries with the winner being.......
Congratulations Dom! We'll be in touch later with details on how to claim your prize.

All in all we had a joyous day spreading the word of TEAM. One filled with festive cheer, new faces, excitement, bountiful chats and much smiling.

See you at the next TEAM event,
Rachel & Kelly.x
