Hola People!

I'm delighted to say I've been asked to be a TEAM Panel member for 2015.

My name is Ben. I have a certificate somewhere that says I have a Degree in Acting. I still do that Acting stuff, but nowadays I do all kinds of other things too, including Composing & performing as a Musician & even, when the wind is right, a bit of Comedy. Well, I call it Comedy…

I’ve just checked the dates & it was exactly 9 months ago to the day (Correct at time of writing!) that I first heard of TEAM. In that short time I’ve attended & been involved in many events & found many new talented collaborators, colleagues & friends. TEAM has had a big effect on me & the work I do, even leading to me now setting up my own TEAM Group – TEAM Choir. “Come & have a sing if you think you’re loud enough!”

 I’m really excited that now, as a Panel member I’ll be able to listen to & support others in finding out how TEAM can help them, whatever their endeavours. Also being able to feed back to the wider community that is National Theatre Wales, maintaining & developing NTW's work for & by the people of Wales.

As a part time Brecon Boy, I’m particularly keen in seeing how we can encourage & celebrate the often overlooked or missed artistic delights that go on in the Beacons & Mid Wales in general. If you’re a Mid -Walean do get in touch with me. I’d love to hear more of what’s going on… & what could go on!

Right, I'm off to get the obligatory TEAM Logo tattoo now on my neck. Lilac or Orange though... not sure, maybe lilac will work better with my skin tone...
