The Second Day of the next (exciting ) phase of my life

It seems like I go on about it all the time but I am still amazed that at the journey that I have gone on over the last three years since the fateful (in a good way) day that I walked into an workshop being held in Butetown Youth Pavilion run by NTW for their 10th show The Soul Exchange. I can remember so vividly how close I came to walking out of that session. Not that it was bad, just we were asked to stand in a circle and take part in a performance exercise that was so far out of my comfort zone. I thought, F-it Im just going to sit down and watch, then I thought I'm going to make up some lie and walk out, but I knew that in reality I'd look a pr*ck if I did (and something deep inside told me to hang around because I had a good feeling about these people).

My First Cup Of Tea On My 2nd Day (dosen't make sense on mobile)

NTW exposed me to a new world of creative possibilities, what theatre can be, who can be for, where it can take place. I had trained in film & video production and design for interactive media and having never been to the theatre (since a trip to watch Super Ted with Mount Stuart Primary which was possibly in Chapter Arts Centre) never in my wildest dreams did I think that I'd be working in Theatre.

To cut a long story short I took every chance that NTW offered me and here I am three years later working for the company.

What I'm really excited about for the next two years is what can happen next with Assembly, how will the format develop and how I am/will/can grow as an artist.
