Hi everyone

Tiger bay youngsters is a football club situated in butetown. We have four teams which are under 16,14,13 and 12s. We are sponsored by the national theatre, who have been a great help in helping us use football as the drive to get the youth to express them selfs through arts.

Last week we had a tournament in butetown where 10 teams participated. The tournament started at 2pm and finished at 9pm, it was a lovely day and the youngsters absolutely loved it. The champions got trophies and so did the runners up, we also awarded trophies for top goal scorer and player of the tournament. The only thing that would of made it even better in my eyes would of been awarding everyone medals.

We are starting some workshops in Butetown, that are going to consist of poetry, spoken word and acting.

Sports is an art but we are hoping to bring out different talents in different fields.
