It's an exiting time at National Theatre Wales, not only because our first shows are around the corner, but because of an exchange we are taking part in with artists from Brazil.

Following on from our Soul Exchange Workshop earlier this month where young creative leaders from Contact in Manchester shared ideas and experience with their counterparts from Butetown in Cardiff we are really pleased to be sending Genaya Parris, a fashion designer, on a two week visit to Brazil to represent National Theatre Wales. Along with representatives from organisations such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Barbican she'll be meeting artists, policy makers and dignitaries from Brazil. On this trip Genaya will add to the many skills she already possesses and the knowledge she brings back will prove invaluable to the work of National Theatre Wales. As part of the exchange a group from Brazil will be visiting us in July.

Have a great time Genaya, I'm jealous, no doubt we will be hearing about the trip very soon....

Hi Carolina. This is definitely something we've been quite exited about. I'm not sure if you have seen the blogs by Genaya about her trip but they are worth checking out. I'll send you some information on how you can get involved with us through TEAM. Thanks for your interest. Devinda
