when Catherine told me this was the question for the Prestatyn Assembly i had a little smile then a big gulp, followed quickly by a furrowed brow - the politics of language, accent & identity all wrapped up in one short sentence. Having had many a chat/heated debate on this subject in the past I wanted an atmosphere where people could quickly get engaged in the nit and grit of the question but also just laugh. I think we got there thanks to everyone who came and everyone's contribution but especially the actors, Cari Barley and Daniel Lloyd. Am still humming Sosban Fach... footage to follow!

Congratulations Bridget, Dan, Cari, Carolina, Sophie, The Special Guests and everyone else who contributed to the Prestatyn Assembly. It was absolutely brilliant! And what fantastic discussions we had mixed with hilarously thought-provoking performances. Great stuff! x

An enormous question... a boggle only 'Calon' (Wales' premier Bilingual Musical Dance Troupe (available for weddings/funerals/kids parties and bar mitzvahs) could tackle.
Can't wait to see the footage. Was a fantastic and enlightening week! x
