surprise performance – workshop/auditions

Through a series of introductions, interviews, experiments, movement and dance workshops, devised scene work, character development and collective creation. Surprise performance will be looking for performers for an upcoming presentation of “Hamletown” at the Chapter Arts Centre in May of 2010. We are looking for actors, performance artists, and dancers interested in working on a multi-disciplinary project that has a heavy element of collective creation at its core. These sessions will be directed and lead by Chad Dembski and Bryn Jennings who are visiting artists from Montreal, Canada.

They are presenting an introduction performance at Experimentica 2009 on Saturday November 14th at 5:00 p.m. entitled “All for Nothing”.


If interested please forward a brief letter of introduction, letting us know a little bit of who you are and where your artistic interests lie.
Please also include the sessions you are available for. Being available for all four sessions is not mandatory.
