Only a WYTHNOS (week) to go until we open at Chapter *silent scream* - where has the time gone?!

Everything is starting to come together now in our final full week of rehearsals… Different elements within the production are beginning to complement each other from Branwen Munn’s clever music and recordings, to Milla Clarke’s eccentric design and costumes. They’re all adding and bleeding in beautifully into the bonkers world that Mathilde and the team have been creating and exploring. For me, this is the most exciting part of a process, when the layering happens… Cyffrous!

The cast (Carys Eleri, Ceri Murphy & Guto Wynne Davies) are all doing fabulously – and I’d like to take this opportunity to admire how they are learning TWO scripts for this show, the English and Welsh language scripts. That in itself deserves applause. Also, remember the word ‘discover’ that I used a lot in last week’s blog? That’s still going, and will keep on going, until… well the last show – ah the beauty of theatre! We’ve discovered some more hysterical moments for the play; moments that prove this play is 18+ for a reason… you’re in for a treat.
