“Take it from a director: If you get an actor that Sandy Meisner has trained, you’ve been blessed.” Elia Kazan
Directing Arts offers workshops to develop the collaborative work between directors and actors. The courses provide practical tools for creating truthful, in-the-moment performances for film and stage. Directing Arts creates spaces where actors and directors work together and learn from each other following the methods of director and teacher Stanford Meisner.
After a number of successful workshops in 2011, 2012 looks to be a busy year for Directing Arts, with a series of 'Working With Actors' courses already lined up in London, Cardiff and internationally. The next UK workshops are listed below, register your interest now by dropping a quick email to savannah@slyfoxfilms.com, and you'll be kept in the loop as the details are clarified. It looks to be a very popular series!
