I have great respect for Kneehigh and all their alumnii, and they have done some great shows, but I was disappointed by Steptoe. No real Kneehigh magic, Harold not well cast, script not 'Kneehighed' and rather turgid, rather ponderous and clunky I thought. Emma's done some great adaptations of some classics, but as someone else said - they're in danger of being a 'tribute band', Get back to the original stuff folks ! with love x
