Just read your blog Justin - it's really exciting to hear about all the projects and spaces emerging in Newport. Interestingly, yesterday I had a meeting with a man about Newport too, and much the same story emerged - anarchic, ground-up creativity.  I loved it when NTW had an empty shop space in Newport a few years ago - it really seemed that artists - and lots of local people in general - were in a mood to take things into their own hands.  Great to know it's happening.  We're hoping to spend more time in Newport soon - and I'm looking forward to checking out some of the projects you mention.
