What is Karen?

Karen is a new interactive work by Blast Theory for 2015 developed in partnership with National Theatre Wales. Karen is an app that mixes gaming and storytelling. Karen is a life coach and she’s happy to help you work through a few things in your life. When you begin, she asks you some questions about your outlook on the world to get an understanding of you. As the story unfolds and she gets to know you, she gets more and more curious. She seems to know things about you that she shouldn’t. Where exactly is this going to end?

Get Involved

Blast Theory has places for 5 people from the NTW Community to join the Beta Testing programme for Karen. You will be sent a code to test the app on Friday 6th February and we’ll need your feedback by Friday 13th February. Other than these dates, you will just need an iPhone and some curiosity.

If you'd like to take part in this first test of app interaction, video and psychological profiling - with the wires still hanging out then get in touch. Places are limited so the first 5 to contact kirsty@blasttheory.co.uk before Wednesday 4th February will get the chance to play.
