August 012 - Free Rehearsed Reading - W.I.S.E - Actors

Here at August 012 we have been getting stuck into the scripts for Friday's rehearsed reading at Chapter and playing with the space and light in true Mathilde Lopéz style. We are having a lot of fun developing and experimenting with the scripts with these three talented actors . . .

Robert Harper

Robert Harper has performed in theatre, radio & television. He trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and shortly after joined the BBC Radio Drama Company, acting in hundreds of a radio dramas for Radio 4 including Against The Grain, Aunt Julia and The Scriptwriter, Einstein In Cromer, People Like Us, The Tree of Liberty, War & Peace, Anna Karenina, and Matt in the BBC Radio Wales soap opera Station Road. His TV work includes The Bench, Dirty Work, The Bill, and Tati’s Hotel, and a number of short films & music videos. Theatre work includes Serious Money for Waking Exploits, Measure for MeasureTwo Gentlemen of Verona, Séan Tyrone, Fragments of Ash. Directing credits include Theatre Exchange @ the Birmingham Rep, and for his own company Bare Fiction. Robert is also a widely published poet, creative writing tutor and editor of the literary journal Bare Fiction Magazine.

Bethan Morgan

Bethan trained at Guildford School of Acting and Dance and has worked in TV, film, stage and radio for over 20 years. She has worked as an actor/musician for many companies across the country, such as Bolton Octagon, Coventry Belgrade, London Bubble, Unicorn Theatre, Midland Arts Centre, Century Theatre, Oxfordshire Touring Theatre, Open Hand and Midsommer Actors. Closer to home she has worked with Waking Exploits, Spectacle Theatre, Theatr Iolo, Company of Sirens and Sherman Cymru, most recently appearing in Richard III at the WMC for Omidaze. She is Artistic Director of Mercury Theatre Wales, most recently devising and directing Anamnesis 25.12.

Tom Mumford

Tom trained at Rose Bruford College, London and currently lives in Cardiff.  His theatrical credits include Macbeth - NPT Theatres, Serious Money - Waking Exploits, Siwan - Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru,  Everwake - PlayArk,  Pinoccio - Black Rat Productions, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead - Welsh Fargo Stage Company,  Romeo and Juliet - Black Rat Productions, A Wasp in Winter - Champion Productions.  Television credits include Torchwood for BBC Worldwide/Starz,  "4c" for S4C and most recently Mountain View for BBC2 Wales in Autumn 2014.  Tom can currently be heard voicing the "Together, Stronger" campaign for The Football Association of Wales.
