Singers needed for recording of a short musical concept by composers, Daniel & Laura Curtis.

Please submit recordings which feature the relevant accent pertaining to the role you are auditioning for (details below).

The recordings being done will be for Public, Non-Commercial purposes. All performers will be given full credit. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the project, we cannot offer expenses or fee compensations. All those cast will be considered for future paid opportunities.

Recording Location: Caerphilly near Cardiff, Wales, UK.

Roles:

Young Male Principal 1 (aged 16-30). Strong tenor pop voice. Must be able to sing with faultless American accent. We are looking in particular for voices with a youthful timbre, with little vibrato but a strong belt.

Male Principal 2 (aged 16-30). Strong tenor pop voice. Must be able to sing with faultless American accent. We are looking at voices which sound characterful, this character is in his mid-twenties and has an awkward and unsure personality that needs across in the voice, as such we are looking for a more contemporary sounding voice rather than a traditional musical theatre tenor.

Male (aged 30 +). Strong New York accent required. Must be a confident singer and a rugged tone of voice needs to be apparent.

Male (aged 30+). Strong French accent required. Baritone or Low Tenor. Singing voice must be mature exemplifying warm and enigmatic qualities.

Ensemble: Male & Females. All voice types considered, but a strong, confident New York accents is required. Must also be able to learn new music and harmonies quickly.

We are keen to hear from performers of a professional standard from all stages in their career. Roles will be assigned due to the correct timbre of voice, rather than on experience.

It is preferable that audition songs are performed in the relevant accent required for the role you are auditioning for.

Recording Details:

Ensemble members are required for one day of recording.

The two principle roles are likely to be required to return for a second day of recording.

The recording sessions are likely to be held in the last week of April or in early May.
