Harps Funeral Directors at the bottom of town by the Labour Club are very respectful of the deceased.  In their window they have a picture of the deceased and the date of the funeral and whether donations or flowers are required.  The photo of the deceased gets moved along the window until their funeral has been.  There are 7 'deceased' currently on display in the front window and there is a set of steps leading up to the platform where the window is so you can take it all in.  As Easter has just passed, the funeral director has put a few little nests with chicks in on straw just to mark the occasion.  It is very nice. Opposite is Jerusalem chapel also known as Elim church where the LOVE WALES club/society is held (I don't know when).  Slimmers World is every Tuesday in the labour club.  When we do the exterior scenes in the car park its like a waltz negotiating the exodus of slimmers and their cars while we sing a lullaby to Sharon Morgan in the tesco trolley.  So far and thank God no-one has batted an eyelid at what might be considered bizarre behaviour anywhere else.  But not in my beautiful Merthyr xxx
