It’s everyone’s history, it’s our show – now it’s your big opportunity to be part of it.

Join a cast of hundreds to help us be part on Wales Millennium Centre’s 10th anniversary programme, and our amazing wealth of art, legend and cultural heritage.

After 10 years in our incredible building we’re celebrating this important milestone with an outdoor spectacular that brings together the fantastic creativity and talent of Wales in the biggest outdoor production of the year.

With mass choreography, lantern processions, a new choral production, acrobatic dance and awe-inspiring pyrotechnics, the production of Ar Waith Ar Daith – a Welsh journey of Myth & Magic – will be like nothing else seen before in Cardiff Bay.  A year in the planning and six months in the making, the production on September 12, 2015, created by acclaimed outdoor arts experts Walk the Plank in collaboration with Wales Millennium Centre will be unforgettable and is expected to draw crowds in their thousands.

So why not be part of the team that makes this theatrical outdoor production truly unforgettable!

Whether you’re an enthusiastic amateur, a trained professional or just someone who wants to do something new we promise you a creative experience that will be as challenging as it is rewarding.

Firstly, you must be available to perform on Saturday September 12, from 7.30pm and also be available for technical and dress rehearsals September 5th and on Friday September 11th, the evening before the big production.

Basically, we’re looking for individuals, families or groups of people aged 14+ to take part in a mass-scale processional section of this celebration. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a seriously epic production which we expect to attract extensive media coverage, including broadcast by S4C.

There are 2 date options for the workshops to learn the movements.

You will only need to attend one of the following:
Thursday 6th August:   6pm.   Urdd Hall, Bute Pl, Cardiff CF10 5AL
Monday 10th August:   6:30pm. National Dance Company Wales, Bute Pl, Cardiff, CF10 5AL

Want to be part of the action?  Then we’d love to hear from you.
All you need to do, in the first instance, is contact Jacqui Geroge to register your interest in one of the above workshop dates.
