Creative outlet & Training ground every Wednesday in Cardiff

Hi Folks

Interested in creativity and experimenting with some R&D ideas on a group of multidisciplinary artists?

Come and join Nurture Creative Dance Theatre at Rubicon on Wednesday for the start of our new term. Here's more info on how to be involved:

Nurture Creative Dance Theatre provides R & D opportunities for professional dance and theatre practitioners and graduates. We meet each Wednesday from 7.30pm until 8.30pm at Rubicon Dance in Splott, where we have the use of a fantastic studio space at a much reduced cost. New participants from the performing arts are always welcome, and we are now taking applications for proposals from individuals who would like to explore their own choreographic ideas; skill share and/or develop their own teaching practice with us.

In the past we have provided the opportunity to attend a masterclass, which was a week long intensive with Jo Fong. This culminated in a very well received piece 'A Dance to Tell' which was performed at The Gate Theatre in December 2013. To date we have developed pieces that have been performed at Rubicon Dance, The Gate, The Riverfront and most recently in July we performed 'The Audiition' choreographed by Angharad Matthews as part of Wales Dance Platform.

Sessions begin again at Rubicon Dance on Wednesday 9th September. First time participants can, if they wish attend 1 taster session for £3. Otherwise the fee for 7 weeks is £20 paid in full in cash please (that's only £2.85 per session!) Half term is 26/10/15 -30/10/15.

The schedule for the first half term is:
Week: 1-3 sessions lead by Sara McGaughey
Week: 4-6 sessions are open to new proposals from participants (Deadline for proposal Friday 18th September. Chosen proposal announced 21st September)
Week 7: A sharing of the half terms work.

Discussion on further development of either/both. New proposals for the following term.
If you' re interested, in attending sessions or have some interesting proposals you'd like to play with, then we'd love to hear from you, so please email us at:
