Volunteer Call-Out: Dare to Reimagine, Treorchy
30 May – 3 June 2016
Theatr Iolo and Park & Dare are on the look-out for volunteers to help with Dare to Reimagine, a site specific community project created by artist Anna Poole. The project will take place in Treorchy and will be an audio tour created with the help of pupils from Treorchy Primary School. This is part of a three year artist and community development project called Platfform – you can find out more about Platfform and Anna’s project which here: http://goo.gl/i2UP4c.

Artist Tiff Oben has been working with year 6 pupils from the school to create fantastical and bonkers art installations which will be put up in different locations across the town. These installations range from a shoe box shrine for a murdered unicorn called Gary (obvs) to a sculpture of broken imaginary friends trapped in bottles to a forest land of happy string and happy words. Each installation will need to be set up before the audio tours take place and we need your help to put them up! This is a mass community project and anyone can get involved!

Volunteers will need to be available;
Why get involved?
This would suit anyone looking to gain experience in stage management, production or someone who would just like to be part of a community project in the RCT area.
This is a volunteer role and all travel expenses and lunch will be covered each day
