CASTING CALL! Golf Course War Machine by Chris Harris @ Cardiff Fringe Theatre Festival

We are looking for an actress to be involved with the first production by No Boundaries Theatre.

GOLF COURSE WAR MACHINE, a short play by Chris Harris, will take place as part of the first Cardiff Fringe Theatre Festival's Scratch Night at CF24 Project in Roath.

GOLF COURSE WAR MACHINE is the personal protest of a drunken, concert-going Valleys girl called Pip. She's on a pretty bad hangover, and she's set up camp outside the Celtic Manor on the eve of the NATO Summitt in 2014. About the politics of the modern world, and how it affects the younger generation directly, the play promises to be political, punchy and fifteen minutes of loud mouthed protesting fun.

No Boundaries Theatre is co-founded by Director Luke Hereford and Playwright Chris Harris. This will be the Company's premier production, and although an unpaid role, a great opportunity for a young actress to make connections with an emerging company founded by young up and coming artists in the Wales theatre scene, and the potential to be involved in future productions which will hopefully result in payment of all involved artists.

To apply, please send your CV and Headshot to Luke via noboundariestheatre@gmail.com by 9pm Thursday 26th June and note the following dates for which you will need to be available:

AUDITIONS: Friday 27th/Sunday 29th May

PERFORMANCE: Thursday 23rd June

Rehearsals can be discussed and arranged around the availability of the chosen actress and the creative team. A Welsh accent or the ability to do a Welsh accent is essential. The playing age of the role is 18 - 30.

We look forward to hearing from each applicant. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further questions or to ask for further details about the production and the future of No Boundaries.

Kindest regards, Luke Hereford.
