SUGAR BABY by Alan Harris
Paines Plough's Roundabout, Summerhall, Edinburgh Festival 2017

4th - 27th August 2017

We are looking for one male performer (any background, heritage or ethnicity) who can convincingly play a young, Cardiff lad from Fairwater.

The character is in their 20s.

We’re looking for someone who has a bit of laddish edge but is also able to show vulnerability. The play is a comedy-drama so we’re looking for someone who has good comic skills but also sensitivity.

The play is very much set in Cardiff so we’re looking for someone who can nail an authentic Cardiff accent.
Agreements in line with Equity.

You must be available to work with us full time for the following project dates:
w/c 5th June 2017 (script development in Cardiff)
10th July - 28th August 2017 (rehearsals in Cardiff and performances 4th - 27th August in Edinburgh)

If you're interested, please send an acting CV and headshot - or a link to your spotlight page - as well as information about your connection to Wales, to: info@dirtyprotesttheatre.co.uk

In line with our company mission, Dirty Protest will prioritise Welsh and Wales-based performers, and performers with a significant connection to Wales.
Dirty Protest want to make sure everyone has equal opportunities to connect with and work with us, so please let us know about any access needs you may have.
