Nurturing the Artists of Tomorrow for the Audiences of Today

Theatr Iolo is delighted to invite submissions from emerging artists to be part of the third and final year of Platfform, our artist development programme. This year, it’s all about families…

We are inviting submissions for two residency opportunities and are thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with The Welfare, Ystradgynlais (http://www.thewelfare.co.uk) and The Riverfront (https://tickets.newportlive.co.uk) in Newport.

We are inviting submissions from theatre-makers (devisers, directors, writers, musicians, poets, spoken word artists, game-makers, puppeteers, story-tellers, comedians, live artists –the list goes on), organisations and partnerships interested in exploring and devising a new idea with and for families.

"Plattform has allowed us as artists and theatre makers the chance to form a stronger bond with Welsh venues. It has challenged our practice and given us the time and space to explore the world of theatre for children and young people. Platfform has opened doors we never knew existed!"
