At Cathays Branch and Heritage Library, on Fairoak Road, we house the local studies collection.

We are trying to expand our repertoire in this library, and put on events for families to engage people, young and old, in Cardiff’s rich history. We have already trialled a variety of events around family learning, such as talks, crafts, treasure hunts, etc. and we are embarking on workshops for schools.

However, one thing that my team keep coming back to is the need for actors to bring historical characters to life at events. I wondered if there is anyone out there (groups, individuals, etc.)  who might be interested in the experience of volunteering at events in a performance capacity?

I would really appreciate any support or advice you might offer.

I'm interested in performing.  Have role-played with Friends of Cathays Cemetary.
