Shared Movement Practice Event 9, 10 & 11 April.

During our Spring recess, the Contemporary Performance Programme at UWTSD Swansea College of Art would like to open its doors at Townhill Campus for a Shared Movement Practice event. Our aim is to provide a creative space of encounter and collaboration amongst the dance/movement community in Wales. Please fill out the Expression of Interest form (https://goo.gl/forms/vGbpdxrbpacET3Ov1). You can come in one, two or three of the days.

We would like to gather professionals, graduates and students who are interested in dance/movement practice to get together, actualise ideas and experiment with exercises, tasks, repertoire or improvisational tasks. There will be a collaborative warm-up or mini-class each day, with space for creative exploration. The material should be targeted at intermediate-professional level (morning sessions), although there will be an open-level space for creative tasks in some slots as well. Venue is wheelchair accessible. A working schedule of each day will be posted on 30 March.

Booking is required.

The event will be coordinated and curated by dance artist and UWTSD lecturer Thania Acarón (www.thania.info).
