Performing Medicine vacancy: Associate Artist, Sound Wales

Performing Medicine is an award-winning arts initiative, created by performance company Clod Ensemble, which uses methods from the performing and visual arts to train healthcare professionals and medical students. Our workshops and courses are practical and interactive, providing a space where participants explore techniques and exercises to practice skills which are applicable to clinical practice, including self-care, verbal and non-verbal communication, spatial awareness, teamwork and leadership.

Performing Medicine are launching a new project with the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board (ABMU) in October 2018 which will work with health professionals across Swansea, Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot.

We are seeking to expand our pool of Associate Artists to include artists who are based in Wales to help support delivery this project. We are looking for experienced artists with expertise in forum theatre and workshop facilitation in community or health settings.
