We at Flossy and Boo HQ are looking for a variety of fun, talented folk to come and join us on our new R&D - The Ramshackle’s Brilliant Adventure.

We are looking to work with artists living in Wales (who have a base in or near South Wales), who are happy to experiment and have fun with us on a brand new project.

Performer:

We are looking for a professional performer who has a strong devising background, can play at least one portable instrument and is confident in singing harmonies.  We need someone who is happy to work interactively with audiences and has some experience in working with young people (and is currently on the DBS update service).  If you have a good sense of fun, and want to come and play with us then please drop us an email with some information about you and your background. We are casting openly, so as long as you can say yes to all of the above then we’d love to hear from you!

R&D creative dates: 3rd -14th June 2019

Potential continuing dates (TBC): 15th-21st July

Designer:

We want to work with a designer who can put their creative mind to a flexible and inventive set that can be used in many different ways and help us find the look of our brand new family show.  If you have experience in designing and creating tourable pieces that have a touch of the unconventional then we’d love to hear from you! Please drop us an email with some information on you and your work.

The work would span 3 weeks over May and early June, paid at Equity/ITC rates.



Sound designer/ technician:

As part of our R&D we will be exploring new ways of creating live and interactive sound with our audiences during the show - so we are looking for someone who can help us experiment with some new technologies and ways of doing this. If you have experience in anything from loop pedal to Makey Makeys to conductive paint, or any other new sound or music technologies then we’d love to have you on board! Please drop us an email with some information on you and your work.

It would take place end of May/beginning of June for one week (or the equivalent of - dates are flexible), paid at a week’s rate of £500.
