National Youth Arts Wales (NYAW) is recruiting a Fundraising and Development Manager. Formed in October 2017, NYAW is a not for profit, registered charity and the lead organisation now responsible for delivering the six national youth ensembles as well as developing a sustainable yearround programme of work that also helps to promote greater access to the arts for young people across Wales, regardless of their background.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join NYAW at a time of significant growth and to support our continued development.   You will work closely with the CEO, taking responsibility for the delivery of our new fundraising strategy to cultivate new and manage existing relationships with small and medium-sized trusts and foundations. The role will require someone who is willing to work flexibly and independently, with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and able to develop good relationships internally and externally, to raise funds to support our strategic aims and objectives. You will help ensure that the delivery of the fundraising strategy leads to greater sustainability for the organisation and achieves annual fundraising targets as part of a managed approach to income generation. As part of your role you will ensure that fundraising from trusts and foundations works effectively alongside other earned income strategies including individual giving and sponsorship.
