If you have been involved in making community based performance as a designer, director, workshop facilitator or participant we would love you to join us and share your experiences, work with us to make something new and help us create a manifesto for the future.

If you have never worked in this way before but are curious about how to go about it, we are also keen for you to join us.

Hi Fiona, this looks really interesting, but as we have our performances on 9th, I'm not sure if I can take part - is it possible to come just on the second day?

Thanks,

Alison

Hi Alison,

The second day will be participants developing ideas and processes from the talks and workshops the previous day.

That said it is likely we will extend an invitation nearer the time to FOUR artists and companies to participate in the outcome of this on Tuesday 10th in the afternoon.

We want to provoke questions and thoughts about the future of working for and with communities, so there will be a Market Place cart devoted to this debate that we hope practitioners will continue to contribute to throughout the week.

If you would like to participate in this workshop and symposium event, we can offer a complimentary ticket with each ticket bought.

Speakers and workshop leaders include : Bill Mitchell and Sue Hill ( Wildworks), Simon Banham and Richard Gregory ( Quarantine) , Becky Minto and Karen Allan ( National Theatre of Scotland)
