Come see Is He A Bit Simon Jay? Tonight!!! As part of made in roath festival
Epic theatre meets silly comedy in this one-man performance of a lifetime.
Spanning 9 decades and dozens of characters, experience the life of Simon Rueben Jay (1931-2013), from his death, to his birth - told from the perspectives of the people he met along the way. A tragic tale of a life not lived as told by the people that knew him.

The Gower Pub Cardiff 8 pm,
Thanks for highlighting this Lisa. There's a good blog about the situation from Hywel Morgan here And you can go to the MyTheatreMatters site to voice your opinion. Cardiff's city's funding decisions are completely shocking, and deeply disappointing when the Welsh Government itself has been working hard to limit cuts to the arts.
Hey,
There's been a bit of debate about this over on fbk and mytheatrematters, but haven't seen anything on here so thought would put the link up ust in case anyone's missed it.

Yes thank you everyone for an inspiring day of writing, performance and conversations - do join the blog conversation around 'what next', or add your comments and thought here.
THANK YOU to everyone who came to Dirty, Gifted and Welsh at the Park and Dare in Treorchy yesterday. Thank you to everyone who gave permission for their script to be performed in our curation. Thank you for your passion, enthusiasm and commitment. I've written a blog post about the day and we would really love your thoughts on how we can follow up Dirty Gifted and Welsh... what's next?
A fantastic essay, particularly for those engaged in criticism - see the always brilliant Jill Dolan on 'Critical Generosity'
