TEAM can offer you training to help you lead a project with confidence, set up a community group or craft a performance piece.

We invite you to post your events, ideas and opportunities here. Let’s get the word out, shall we?

Hi Everyone

Just a quick reminder that I will be storytelling in Costa Coffee, Pontypridd tomorrow from 3-5pm. Great coffee and some good stories - the perfect way to spend your afternoon! Look forward to seeing you there!

TEAM Members far and wide, come and celebrate with us!

We are holding a party to celebrate all things TEAM. Come along for poetry, dance, performance, music and a whole load of fun games...of course there is also a bar!

This is your chance to meet other TEAM members, let us know what impact TEAM has had on you and your community, and to have your say on the future of TEAM.

No matter where you are in Wales we would love to hear from you. If you are based outside of Cardiff let us know you would like to come along, and we will try our hardest to make it happen. Reasonable travel expenses can be covered.

Email team@nationaltheatrewales.org for more information and to bag your self a ticket.

We hope you can all make it and look forward to seeing you on the 23rd May, 7pm at the Cardiff Story Museum.

Much love,
x

Hello National Theatre Wales Community!

Dry Mouth Theatre has just finished casting for its debut production of Arthur Miller's American classic Death of a Salesman taking place at The Gate Arts Centre on the 24th, 25th and 26th of July!

We're a brand new theatre group made up entirely of young people living around South Wales who are passionate about theatre (whether it be acting/directing/costume design etc) and we'd love it if you could one little tiny thing for us!

All we're asking is for you to mosey on over to our page (linked below) and hit the 'Like' button and share our page with your friends/family/creative types, it's that easy!

We'll be updating our page with regular vlogs and video diaries from the team as well as all the latest info on the show itself.
So what are you waiting for, take a look at our cast and previous vlogs! - https://www.facebook.com/drymouththeatre

P.S. We also have our twitter account up and running should you be so inclined - https://twitter.com/DryMouthTheatre

Thanks very much for your time and support!

Jack

Hello Lovely People!
I (relatively) recently moved back to Wales after an absence of many years working throughout the UK. In 2007 I set up a small theatre company in East Yorkshire, Human Compass. The aim of the company is to produce exciting work in traditional and non traditional spaces, which is intensely watchable, often uses a mixture of media and music to tell stories about what is means to be human.

I'm at a stage now where I'd love to re-establish the company in South Wales and would love to find people to collaborate with on future projects.

If you'd be interested, or would like to find out more then please drop me a message on here or email - humancompasstheatre@yahoo.co.uk or visit the website www.humancompasstheatre.co.uk

Can't wait to hear from you!

Calling performance poets and spoken word artists!!

TEAM are holding another Spoken Word and Performance Poetry workshop and we are lucky enough to have Joshua Idehen coming from London to deliver it.

'Joshua Idehen is a mercurial poet, founder of the highly acclaimed poetry group A Poem Between People and leader of ‘fro-funk band Benin City.  He’s also promoter of some of the coolest London poetry/music nights, 10kk and poejazzi.'

To find out about Joshua's work check out the his TEDxYouth talkLatitude 2013 and performance at Westminster Arts Library

This will be held at Chapter Arts Centre on Tuesday 6th May, 6pm-8pm.  If you would like a place on the workshop please email team@nationaltheatrewales.org.  There are limited places available and we will be operating on a first come first served basis.

Jem Treays will be sharing his WalesLab project next Friday 25 April at Chapter Arts Centre. Jem is particularly interested in dads and daughters attending the sharing. To see Jem's work, head to the foyer at Chapter for 1pm. Watch the video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZJWR9Zt9NE .. Hello everyone. please take a look at Episode 1 of our (currently) two man project which is going to be a 6 or 8 part web series. We have shot and edited it all ((for almost no money) on an I Pad which is a different, quick and relatively straight forward method of working. Shooting for Episode 2 is almost done and wil be out in a couple of weeks. More people will be involved from Episode 3 onwards. So if you enjoy it please do share.... Nigel/Fritz

The Good Earth is a new play in development by Fragments and NTW Emerging Director Rachael Boulton, showing at the Wales Millennium Centre this Wednesday and Thursday at 8pm. Because NTW has played such a supporting role with the piece, we'd like to give five pairs of tickets away to 5 TEAM members. Simply email tom@fragments.ie with the day you'd like to see the play.

If you'd like to know more about the production, or you weren't able to nab one of the five pairs of free tickets, have a look here.

Good luck, and see you there!
