Hi Everyone,

If you fancy seeing some theatre this weekend, come and be entertained by the situational comedy "Service! Training Day,"

Fast-paced, foul-mouthed farce. Hotel manager Sheila needs maternity cover. Sluggish Gavin and fastidious arse Steven duel for promotion.

Hi all,

Familia de la Noche are previewing our Edinburgh show The Greatest Liar in all the World next Wednesday 23rd July at Pontardawe Arts Centre before taking it up to the Pleasance Courtyard this summer. A bit about the show:

Familia de la Noche return with their five star darkly funny sequel to Pinocchio, filled with live music, puppetry, physical theatre and clowning.

‘What it would be like to stroll through the inside of Tim Burton's and Terry Gilliam's minds’ (SuchSmallPortions.com).

Following the story of The Liar, a washed up, world weary, two bit mentalist act who has reached the end of the line and threatens to end it all with his greatest act – the One Inch Bullet Catch. In an attempt to save his life his motley crew of glamorous (and not so glamorous) assistants send the audience careering through the real story behind his infamous origins.

“Brilliantly bizarre, fiendish and very funny this is one magical nightmare that you’ll never want to wake up from. Pure brilliance.” Edinburgh Guide

Familia de la Noche is a breakout theatre company looking to craft something new out of the accepted conventions of theatre. A Pandora’s box of actors, clowns, designers, puppeteers and musicians we have sworn a solemn oath to create shows that are brilliant, funny, affecting, devastating, charming and raucously entertaining with a contagious spirit and a lust for life. The company won the Wales Millennium Centre Blysh Commission 2014 and were shortlisted for the  Les Enfants Terribles award 2013. They also create theatrical expereinces for the Lost Lectures and Shuffle Festival curated by Danny Boyle ‘

Come and join us at Pontardawe and let us know what you think of the show in the bar afterwards. Tickets are here:

http://www.pontardaweartscentre.com

Just go to the Whats on page and find the show.

See you there or catch you at Blysh this weekend - we'll be dressed as insect aliens.

Hello thesps!

Following Rogue'z sell out performance of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest at Chapter Arts Centre last year, and their critically acclaimed new play: The Winter Gift ,at WMC in February, their next show will be The Homecoming, by Harold Pinter. A brilliantly twisted family drama, seething with sordid sexuality and venomous wit, for those who like their comedy pitch black!

(This show is part of The Cardiff Comedy Festival)

Porter's July 21/22nd 7pm, Chapter July 24th, 8pm

Tickets for both venues, available here:
