Hi TEAM - you may have seen that this October, Dirty Gifted and Welsh is back.

Last year's collaboration between Dirty Protest and NTW was a huge success, so we are doing this celebration of new writing for performance all over again, in Cardiff this time.

We have two opportunities for TEAM members to get involved in the activity this year:

1 writer opportunity

1 actor opportunity

If you are interested in getting involved as a TEAM member in DGW2014, please can you email us a statement of interest and an outline of your previous work, letting us know which of the two opportunities you would like to be considered for.

Please email: info @ dirtyprotesttheatre.co.uk

You can read more about DGW2014 here.

Looking for people who might want to be involved with this project. There is zero cash but tones of fun it is the very first test of a new game I'm developing so need actors and technicians. I can promise a party and booze in replacement of payment. Let me know if you are interested it will be on Oct 17th but be good to meet once or twice before then. Go on it will be loads of fun.

If your interested email me at txtuda@gmail.com

Also check out the photo below for an idea of what it will be.

Hi TEAM

Im organizing a symposium called " How safe is the 'safe space' of participatory practice in an arts and heritage context?". If anyone is interested in coming along and having a good ole debate about this then please see the event link below.

8th October at Cardiff Story! Hope you can make it as it should make for an interesting debate!

Cast Your Vote

Voting opened last Friday for next stage of the Big Democracy Project. We invited proposals from across North Wales and the three ideas that are now up for public vote are three really strong and relevant ideas. The public will now decide which idea gets developed in an Assembly (performance/debate event) by voting for the one they feel chimes with them.

Central to the Big Democracy Project is how can we create the Wales we want? With action through art The Big Democracy project will help communities find their voice and explore issues that are important locally and nationally.

The themes are Homelessness, Voter Apathy and Rural Travel, more information can be found here www.nationaltheatrewales.org/big-democracy-project

Cast your vote.

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for an Assistant Designer to work with me on a production of Crazy Gary's Mobile Disco, produced by Waking Exploits, and opening at Chapter Arts Centre before a Welsh tour. Matt Ball is directing. We start rehearsals on 26th Aug, and the show opens on 17th Sept, so if you're interested, you'll need to have good availability during that time. I'm ideally looking for someone Cardiff-based, who is training as a designer or recently graduated, and would like to get some experience being in a rehearsal room with a professional team. We're creating the design as we rehearse, so it's a good one if you're into devising and collaborative theatre making. It's an unpaid position but there is some money towards expenses. Please email me at ali.neighbour@googlemail.com if you are interested. Thanks!
