Hello,

We urgently require a sound recordist to work on a short film this weekend. Alternatively, someone who could loan or hire us some sound recording equipment would be brilliant.

As this is a low/no budget film, this will be an unpaid opportunity, but travel expenses will be covered and food will be provided. We could also pay a small fee for the hire of the equipment.

Filming details are:

This Saturday 25th October, 7am - 4pm

Location: Usk/Newport area.

You can find further information on the film here:  Boat

If you are available, or would like further details please contact the director on: danmcgowan@hotmail.com or 07976 571 239.

It is a great little film and would be a great credit for someone looking to build up their experience.

Many Thanks!

Susan

Urgently need to fill my house in Mount Pleasant central Swansea, 4 rooms available.

Beautiful newly renovated fully furnished property available to rent immediately, 5 minute walk from Swansea Metropolitan University, 10 minute walk from city centre.

4 bedrooms range from £325-375 per calendar month per room fully inclusive of all bills (gas, electric, water, council tax, tv licence, fibre optic broadband). This property features a new kitchen with large fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine, two bathrooms, large communal living room, and garden.

As the house has been recently rewired there are a generous amount of electrical outlets in each room as well as a fitted ethernet socket and amplified TV aerial per bedroom.

As you will be dealing direct with the landlord there are no agency fees to be paid. Property is available immediately, call, email, or text for an immediate viewing,

No DSS, no pets

Hey everyone! I just wanted to put out a post and see if there are any producers or budding producers that would be interested in working on a project that’s going to be running in January of next year. It involves Shakespeare and children’s theatre so a passion for either or both would be fantastic. Anyone interested in this project or interested in learning more please feel free to email me on garethtempest@ymail.com or send me a direct message to me on here! Hope everyone is well :) x

Hello Creatives! I'd like to invite you all to our production of Lost in the Neuron Forest, which was developed last year as part of the Wales Millennium Incubator scheme, and is now touring Wales with the help of a Wellcome Trust grant and Arts Council Wales.

Lost in the Neuron Forest is an exploration of memory and how it makes us who we are. The audience follow the story of Edna, a feisty woman who fears she is losing herself as she loses her memory. Edna takes us back to the heady days of her youth, and the memories mingle with those of the neuroscientist who offers to help Edna. A promenade adventure into how the human brain works, and the science and personal significance of memory.

We'd love to see you at one of the venues:

10th & 11th Oct - Southwark Playhouse, London 7pm (SOLD OUT)

15th Oct - Canterbury Christchurch 7.30pm

18th Oct - Theatr Neuadd Ogwen, Bethesda 7pm

 21st Oct - Wales Millennium Centre 8pm

22nd Oct - Barry Memo Hall 7.30pm

23rd Oct - Newport Riverfront 2.30pm & 7.45pm

24th Oct - Aberystwyth Arts Centre 7.45pm

26th Oct - Slung Low's HUB, Leeds 5pm

30th & 31st Oct, 1st Nov - Camden People's Theatre 7.30pm

Have a look at what our preview audiences thought here: https://vimeo.com/108996707

You can also visit our Memory Store, a mobile library of memories contributed by community workshop participants in Bangor, Newport, and London, it will be popping up in venue foyers throughout the tour, and you can even add your own memories to the collection.

Hello,

I am looking for some creative volunteers to assist with the creation of a Cheshire Cat (for inspiration see picture attached) and giant Butterfly wings (for a performer to transform from caterpillar into butterfly before being flown on a basic rig). The production is in the RWCMD in December. If anyone is available to help then please drop me an email on ascendancetheatrearts@gmail.com so we can arrange a suitable time to meet and discuss this further. Thank you in advance x
