Hello,

our creative team are in pre-prod for a film about the legendary antics of The Scarlets rugby team in 1957, when they travelled to Soviet Russia to participate in The World Youth Games in Moscow. We're currently raising funds for a short to help develop the final feature. If you could spare a minute to watch the promo or forward this to any rugby fans or creatives that would be interested in supporting a sports film with historical and political oomph - it would be really much appreciated. Diolch!

***Casting Call - 'Date Night' @ Sherman Cymru***
by Double Dipp Productions

Following our one woman play ‘Pick N Mixx’ at Sherman Cymru in January we are now casting for our next play, which will take place at The Sherman Theatre July 10th.

Date night is a comedy about relationships and the various kinds of dates that happen on your average Friday night in Cardiff. Like our previous work this piece will include a lot of audience participation and improvisation.
So we are looking for actors who enjoy being kept on their toes.

Gareth. Male. 30- 35.
Heavy set. Freshly dragged from the closet, he tries much too hard to prove to anyone and everyone he is totally comfortable with his sexuality.

Eileen. Female 60 - 70.
Eileen is on the surface cold and pretentious. A lady of a certain age who’s daughter has set her up on a blind date, the first since the loss of her husband.

Hywel. Male. 60-70.
Hywel, a gentle and easily flustered life long bachelor. Always the optimist, he has been set up on a blind date.

Rehearsals we aim to begin w/c 15/6 onwards with production on Friday 10/7. Though rehearsals are flexible to work around our cast.

Being such a small company we will be working on a profit share scheme.

If you'd like to audition please drop us an email at double.dipp@yahoo.co.uk preferably with a head shot / link to spotlight etc.

We look forward to hearing from you!
