National Theatre Wales TEAM is an open invitation - a chance for you to join in, contribute, and help us generate some magic. Whether you are new to the arts or a veteran culture vulture, TEAM welcomes you and your curiosity, enthusiasm and imagination.

TEAM is a network that encompasses a whole range of individuals, from arts professionals, dedicated enthusiasts and those curious ones dipping their toe in for the first time.

Once you are part of this growing network, you get the chance to take part in our creative activities, get special ticket offers for our shows, and opportunities to assist on our productions.

If you’ve got an idea that you want to share, a creative project that needs an outside eye to glance over it, or you are looking for some guidance from a supportive arts community you have come to the right place.

TEAM can offer you training to help you lead a project with confidence, set up a community group or craft a performance piece.

OMIDAZE SUMMER SCHOOLS - I am giving away SIX FREE PLACES on this year's Summer Schools and I need help to reach young people in receipt of Free School Meals wh...o will benefit from the experience. The deadline for scholarship applications is this Friday 10th July. All Summer Schools are in Penarth & Cardiff. Please circulate to teacher friends and parents and young people. details of courses below. There are two Full Scholarships for each course. Anyone interested (for both scholarships & paid places) needs to email me y.murphy1@ntlworld for an application form.

THE SHAKESPEARE SUMMER SCHOOL for 7 - 11 year olds & THE YOUNG ACTORS SUMMER SCHOOL for 12 - 15 year olds.

Course dates:
20th - 24th July Albert Road Methodist Church, Penarth (Shakespeare for 7 - 11 year olds)
27th - 31st July Stanwell School, Penarth (Young Actors for 12 - 15 year olds)
3rd - 7th August In Association with Chapter Arts Centre

The Shakespeare Summer School & The Young Actors Summer School are one week courses, Monday to Friday
9.30am - 3.30pm

Cost per student £100.00 (£180 for two siblings)

Full Scholarship places available to young people in receipt of Free School Meals.

The Shakespeare Summer is an interactive, fun and physical introductions to the world of Shakespeare. We feel passionately about providing access to and ownership of Shakespeare through an exciting and totally interactive approach. We do not rehearse a production so no former knowledge or experience of Drama or Shakespeare is required.

The Young Actors Summer School for 12 - 15 year olds is a chance for budding actors to work with a professional theatre director on contemporary & classic texts, monologues, stage craft, audition technique & physical theatre.

Hi TEAM,

We'd love you to join us on 10th July in Cardiff for our next Stories of the Streets event where 5 writers have been given the challenge of writing 10 minute plays based on overheard conversations, come along to see what they've created!

TEAM Social this Friday!

Spaces still available to watch a dress run of our upcoming production for FREE!

National Theatre Wales are opening the final dress rehearsal to TEAM members for {150}.  Exciting!

 TEAM members are invited to join us on Friday 26th June at 7pm near Aberdare for the NTW TEAM Social.  This will be a chance to meet other TEAM members, see the production before anyone else, and have a nice drink whilst you’re doing it.

TEAM Panel member Ben Tinniswood is organising the next Critical Chinwag to see This is How We Die, at Chapter Arts Centre on Tuesday 23rd June.  If you would like to see the show for FREE, and natter about it afterwards whilst enjoying a splendid beverage, then this is the event for you.  Find out more here.
